  I guess it was a relatively poor chassis, or it was made poor, by the last-minute changes in the regulations, which outlawed the ground effect aerodynamics.

I find it amusing to see how F1 cars were engineered back in the mid 80s, I can imagine the sense of satisfaction the design team feel after all the hard work put into their new car. A great documentary!
