I respect the drivers back in the 80s steering these 1000hp+ machines around tracks like these. They could have done a better job with the layout. Wish they could have kept “old” hockenheim. Now they have a calendar with a shrunken “europe season”. Loved those fat tyres too.

I can’t think of a better track for the turbo cars back then. It is a shame its been hacked down to its current config, just like Hockenheim. Too bad the Lotus had a miss and too bad for Berger at his home GP.
