1997 was an awesome season, I remember when the FIA announced the new narrow track / grooved tyres for 1998, I thought the sport might have been heading in the wrong direction!

If only Damon’s Arrows had held on for one more lap at Hungary. It would have made that 1997 season just a little bit more sweeter….

1997 WAS great, and this race was one of the season highlights. It is manditory viewing for any fans of the Team In Tartan. It is also a testament to the virtuosity of Schumacher in the wet. Maybe between go-kart races he should take up speedboats?

I dunno what it is, but I just think that the 1997 season was one of the best seasons ever, even if schumi didn’t win the championship
